A beautiful collection of buildings whose content was just delightful. I particularly loved that each room was decorated uniquely - the frescoes and ceilings were a true delight.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Irene, was knowledgeable about the art and the history of this building and it was very interesting. Also recommend booking this tour just for the group access, group cloak room and no lines. You want to spend as much time as possible within the walls of this building not waiting. Lunch at nearby restaurant was nice. We had our own private room where we could discuss all the beauty we had just seen.

Dear Mary, We have just returned from our visit to Russia and I must tell you that Le Corsaire in St Petersburg was the highlight of our trip. The venue at the Mariinsky II theatre is breath taking. And the performance of the ballet was unbelievable. I've gone to the ballet since the age of eight and I always wanted to experience the ballet in Russia. My wish came true and it was wonderful. Even my husband enjoyed it and he's a balletphobe. He said he would go again. (Win/win!) Thank you for your help in getting these tickets. Fantastic. The Gold rooms are wonderful and full of treasures from very old cultures. The guide who spoke excellent English showed us the most dainty of details. The Museum tour which followed was essential to get the best out of the Hermitage. The Museum is very big and full so getting from place to place with a guide is much easier.
