Cross-country Skiing in a Siberian Forest

In the morning of the first day transfer to rail station and tourists take a local train to Trudny stop, 1.5 hours. Accommodation will be in the a larch log built cabin (House of 4x5 m, one room) with a traditional stove and a Wooden Russian sauna. Your Guide will sleep in the nearby hut. After arrival, Lunch, which will be followed by afternoon skiing. Clients may choose the distance (from 3 to 40 km) and the level of the piste. In the evening sauna and dinner. Next morning another walk around before afternoon departure back to Irkutsk about 4 pm or at 7 pm, as you wish. Afternoon trip back to Irkutsk by local train 1.5 hours. (Arrival in the city by 5.50 pm or by 9.00 pm.). We provide a guide, skis and outfit, full board, all transfers and Russian sauna included.
The settlement which is comprised of 30 houses is situated at the edge of an immense forest 1.5 hour by local train from Irkutsk. Several nice ski pistes start here to get you to a nice pine tree forest with a perfect view.
Attempting to recognise different animal prints that you will encounter in the wilderness and coming back to a private hunter’s hut, this trip will give you a chance to unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life and to enjoy the serentity and peace of this beautiful region. (unless you are here on the weekend and join in the fun with Irkutsk ski lovers).

The fastest way is to get to Irkutsk by plane from Moscow. There are 6 direct flights per day, duration is 5h 40m.
