The starting point of your trekking tour is Listvyanka that is located on the shore of Baikal Lake. Due to its perfect location, Listvyanka is one of the most popular Russian resorts for summer holidays.
First half of the walk goes through the Taiga forest, then the trail leads down to the shore of Lake Baikal.
Baikal landscapes along the trails are magnificent. You will hike along the shore of Baikal with beautiful rivers, streams, forests and steep cliffs on your way. If you are lucky, you can even see one of the Baikal nerpas laying on the stones near the shore.
On the shore, the guide will cook you a delicious lunch on a campfire. Then you will have some more time to rest and to enjoy the beauty of the Siberian nature. You may want to sunbathe on the shore and you must not miss this unique opportunity.
After that, you will continue your walk on the hillside enjoying the panorama of Lake Baikal along the way.
This circular route hike will end also in Listvyanka.
