Today will be truly exhilarating as you are on your way to discover Moscow’s political, historical and cultural heart. The immediate sense of history will be evident as you see the greatest sights that Moscow has to offer. You will begin your guided tour in the heart of Moscow, beginning at the legendary Red Square where you will uncover some of the greatest treasures of Russia’s past. You will then be taken to visit the iconic St Basil’s Cathedral, and the Kremlin, see Lenin’s Mausoleum, amongst other remarkable buildings and statues.

Kremlin grounds (inside visit)

Visit one of the most well-known sights of Moscow – the Kremlin with its red brick walls and 20 towers holding their own unique history. Since its first construction in 1156 as a wooden fortress by the order of Grand Duke Yuri Dolgoruky it has been rebuilt several times. The current appearance was formed in 1495 by the best architects of Russia and Italy. Today Kremlin is the residence of Russian President and the main symbol of the country,  revered by all of its citizens. The center of the Moscow Kremlin is occupied by the main and most ancient square of the city - Cathedral Square, which still retains its original form - a unique complex of masterpieces of medieval architecture. Having been founded in the early XIVth century Cathedral Square saw the construction, destruction and rebuilding of churches and chambers, witnessed all the perturbations within the history of the Russian State. Nowadays the architectural ensemble of the Cathedral Square consists of the Assumption cathedral, Archangel's cathedral, Annunciation cathedral, the Church of Laying Our Lady's Holy Robe, the Patriarch's Palace, the Faceted Chamber, Golden Tsarina's Chamber and churches of the Terem Palace, the Ivan the Great Bell-Tower complex.

Explore the fascinating church at the heart of Moscow, an exemplary work of art, which touchingly and glamorously traces back the history of Russia in an encompassing and solemn manner, that no other tourist attraction can ever surpass. Walking inside this atmospheric place, you will see why it earned such devotion. There are more than 400 icons from the 14th to 19th centuries painted by the most famous Novgorod and Moscow icon painting schools.
