In harness with Husky (8 hours)
A husky safari is a truly thrilling experience, especially when you have the chance to be a musher in control of your own team of dogs. Experience the excitement of the dogs as they eagerly wait to pull you at a speedy pace through the breathtaking scenery.
You ride a 25-kilometre snow-covered route in a huskie’s sled, being surrounded by the northern nature! Huskies and Alaska are the hardiest breeds of dog, perfect for overcoming long distances on snow. You will personally operate a sled with dogs at a speed up to 40 kilometres per hour!
The tour is seasonable: available from December to April
Tour program:
- Meet with the guide at your hotel
- A transfer from Murmansk to dogs kennel
- Have a walk around the kennel and get acquainted with dogs of Alaska and Husky breed
- Detailed briefing + equipment
- Driving the dogsleds - 25 kilometres
- Have a snack (lunch) near the fire and listen to Northern stories -1 hr.
- Return back to the kennel and have some rest, you can have a walk around the kennel and also feed the reindeer
- Return to Murmansk
