Northern Light (other names: Aurora Borealis) is one of the most beautiful and mystique natural phenomena on our planet. You can see the Northern Light only close to North and South Poles, due to its connection with magnetic fields of our Planet. Murmansk is definitely the most comfortable city in Russia for observation and photographing of Northern Lights, due to its geographical location and well-developed infrastructure.
We will pick up you in the evening and you will start hunting for Northern Lights. You can see the Northern Lights from September to April with equal probability; it depends on the solar activity and the clouds in the sky. We do not recommend watching the weather forecast for Murmansk, because it is usually shown as cloudy there. In this tour we go to the side of the continent, there the weather can differ substantially.

* There is a chance the Northern Lights will not be visible because of potential overcast.
** The tour is considered successful if the Northern Lights were visible (of any strength and duration of the glow) to the unaided eye.
