Day 1: Moscow, arrival, free evening
Your driver will pick you up from the airport in Moscow. You will be taken to one of the best downtown hotel, where you will have free evening.
Day 2: Moscow City Tour & Visit to the Kremlin

Starting from your hotel, your friendly and professional guide will take you on narrated 4-hour sightseeing tour of Moscow including Red Square, St Basil's Cathedral, Vorobyovy Gory Park and amazing Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Then have a delicious traditional lunch in one of the best local restaurants. During next 4-hours explore Kremlin territory and Armoury Chamber. After the tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3: Moscow, Subway and Tretyakov Gallery

Meet your guide at your hotel and travel to one of the greatest museums in the world, the national treasury of Russian fine art - the Tretyakov Gallery, which includes more than 170,000 astonishing masterpieces by Russian artists. Taste the life of locals, exploring the city subway. After the tour relax on the 3,5 hours journey north to St Petersburg on board the high-speed train Sapsan. Check into your hotel in the center of St Petersburg. Transfer is arranged.

Day 4: St. Petersburg Sightseeing Tour

The tour begins when you meet your guide at your hotel. Visit the city’s architectural highlights like St. Isaac's Cathedral, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, Nevsky Prospect and many other amazing attractions. Take a tour to the first structure built in St Petersburg - Peter and Paul Fortress and learn about astonishing Russian history from your guide. Finish your tour back at your hotel.

Day 5: Visit to the Hermitage Museum

In the morning, enjoy a tour of the world-famous Hermitage Museum and admire one of the finest art collections in the world, including over 3 million exhibits. Day 6: Trip to Peterhof Palace

In the morning you will be taken to the UNESCO-listed Peterhof, incredible summer residence of Russian tsars. Enjoy a 6-hour tour with you friendly guide, walking in amazing park, admiring numerous fountains and astonishing gilded statues and visiting the Grand Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in Russia. Day 7: St. Petersburg, departure

Check out from your hotel and meet your private driver in the morning. Get transferred back to the airport for the trip back home.

Just to let you know our holiday was absolutely superb. The national escort and the four local guides were all first class and passionate about both their part of Russia, and Russia in general. Having returned and come down to earth, we wanted to drop you a line thanking UVisitRussia and the staff for a wonderful holiday. We must congratulate you in London for the smooth running of organising our trip including visas and answers to our queries when we contacted prior to starting the trip. Once we arrived in Moscow we realised that the friendly and efficient way we were met was a good omen. We cannot praise all your local guides too highly - their English was excellent, they had a sense of humour and their local knowledge gave us a great insight into the area we were in. The organisation of the various modes of transport was meticulous, the hotels were of a good standard, and the river cruise in Saint-Petersburg was excellent, the itinerary of places to see was wide and various and made for a great experience. Our national escort was so attentive, helpful and really nothing was too much trouble. He is a great asset to your organisation, he really did make our holiday very special. We certainly enjoyed the wide range of local dishes and the restaurants which served them, the shows we went to were very entertaining, and the various outlets like the silk works, jade factory were very good and interesting. In all, it was a wonderful holiday and we thank you all for making it a experience we will never forget, it is such a fantastic country, with memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

She went out of this way to ensure that our holiday was so special. Her knowledge of the history of her country was exceptional and he made every journey and trip very interesting. My wife and I have just completed one of the best holidays ever, "The Best of two Capitals" The whole tour has been one of superb organisation, great sights and a great experience with excellent guides, in particular our national escort who we shall miss. My daughter and I have just returned from Russia which was a wonderful experience. The group number of 6 was perfect and the standard of accommodation as a whole exceeded our expectations. The local guides were good and each added their own flair and style to a given area. The sucess of our trip hinged on the ability and dedication of our Guide elena, whom we cannot praise highly enough. She worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of everything and the comfort of all of us. He would have given us the shirt off his back if necessary! It was impressive to see someone so young do such a competent and professional job!

My family of four recently went on the Best oftwo capitals tour and we had an absolutley fantastic holiday. Our Guide Olga was excellent in every way. Her knowledge of history on all parts of the tour was extremely impressive, but most of all, she really took the time to make sure everyone was looked after. She is the best tour guide we have ever had on all of our holidays to date. We will look back with very fond memories of our time in Russia and we hope to visit the country again one day.

We have now returned from our Russia tour and have nothing but praise for the entire journey. The trip delivered all that was promised and more. The itinerary could not have contained any more than it did in the time allotted. My husband and I and two friends have just returned from Russia after joining your The Best of 2 capitals tour. We would like to say what a wonderful experience it was for us all. We went with some trepidation but were very pleasantly surprised as soon as we arrived and met our moscow guide Anton at the airport, and then our tour guide Anna who would be with us for the duration of our trip. Our hotels and food were very good, as were the visits to the theatres (The Bolshoi in Moscow and the Mariisnky in Saint-Petersburg). The boat cruise in Saint-Petersburg itself was marvellous and the staff on board very helpful and friendly. Our Petergof add-on was also very good, the Hotel was beautiful. All in all, a very enjoyable trip and UVisitRussia will be highly recommended by us.

I have just returned from the Russian holidays and the best of 2 capitals tour and would like to say how much I enjoyed it. I am actually completely dumbstruck on how best to describe this wonderful adventure, words cannot define the total, unique experience. The only way I can explain it, is to say it was like looking into a history book and reliving the past but also seeing history in the making. It was the most wonderful trip I have ever experienced. It was faultless from the first minute to the last. Everything was so well planned I had nothing at all to worry about except trying to take photo after photo of all the different images that I saw. The group I was with were lovely and we all laughed together and enjoyed every day with new-found vigour and excitement. It felt like Christmas every day! Most of all, the holiday was made perfect by our wonderful guide Anna. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the passion she has for his country is wonderful and this was passed on to all of us by excellent knowledge of her country. At all times our thirst for knowledge about all aspects of life in Russia, was answered in a clear precise way.
