Begin your excursion at the Krasnoyarsk Railway Station, where you meet your guide. While exploring the railway station, take a look at the memorial steam locomotive, Sergo Ordzhonikidze, a symbol of the city’s industrialisation during the Soviet Era and a tribute to the 70th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. 

After getting acquainted with one of the city’s most treasured landmarks, your tour guide will lead you to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum, one of the oldest museums in the region, where you will have the opportunity to unearth the history of the world’s most iconic railway. As you are exploring the museum’s vast and unique collection, you will see many exhibits telling the tale of the Trans-Siberian Railway, starting from 1891 when construction of the railway first commenced. 

The first bridge spanning across the great Yenisei River is the next stop on the itinerary, there you will set eyes on one of Russia’s most impressive architectural masterpieces, and one of the great symbols of Krasnoyarsk. The Yenisei River is considered one of the great Siberian rivers and you are going to find why.
