You will have some free time and after you depart to the city-tour. You will see the most interesting places of Ekaterinburg: Lenin monument, Historical Square, Iset River Embankment, 1905 Revolution Square, Tatishev and De Genin monument, Union House, City Administration and many other. MYSTERIES OF THE LAST ROMANOVS` FAMILY
TransSiberian railway travellers do not miss this tour. You will learn more about Russian history and about last tzar family of Russia. This tour starts from the hill of Ascention where you will see Cathedral on the Blood – ex-Ipatyev’s house place where the last Russia Tsar Romanov family was killed. After you will depart to Orthodox center in Ganya`s Pit place - Monastery and Chuches - 12 km far from Ekaterinburg. You will see 7 wooden wonderful chuches that were built for the memory of each Romanov family members. Nicholay Romanov II and his children were killed in times of Soviet revolution and burned in Gany`s Pit. This sad story was a start of long period of Soviet period of Russian History. Othodox Chuch tries its best to remember history and its mistakes. (guiding, transport, 3 hours)
You will visit continents border and will make memorable photos. Your will see 2 momuments, 2 marks of Europe-Asia border - modern one 17 km from Ekaterinburg and original old one 40 km far from the city. You will also see Russian wooden houses village. After the tour you will have lunch in Ekaterinburg. We will assist you with a transfer back to the railway station and you will continue your transsiberian railway tour.
